P.S. I just realized—does the rest of the gang not know what Bucciarati is up to? I get the impression that they don't.

I DIDN'T REMEMBER BUCCELLATI HOLDING TRISH'S HAND.. I looked back at the manga and ahh, it's SO subtle there compared to the anime. It makes sense they showcased it because of the thing with her hand getting chopped off, but I'm still appreciative of the decision.. I LOVE hand holding moments.. and with Buccellati it's even better :'-) <3

(re: P.S.: They definitely didn't at that point but I guess you probably know that now that ep 21 is out..)

I kinda have mixed feelings about Bucciarati not telling the rest of the gang about wanting to topple the boss because of drugs _(:3 」∠)_ I mean, I guess it's fine not to tell the kiddies but what about Abbacchio?

I THINK the idea was it's the classic scenario where if they know it puts them in danger bc it implicates them, so he didn't want to force them to make a choice until a split was inevitable. On one hand I think it would've been nice for him and Abbacchio to have more of a partnership relationship (via him being in on it) but I can also see it as like.. reinforcing Buccellati's capo position in the narrative. 🤔

TBH personally I like it because I like the drama of everyone choosing if they go with him or not all at once :'D
