Babyface is actually my least favorite stand in all of Jojo.. which seems to be a common opinion. I watched with 2 friends that also read the manga, and as soon as they realized which stand this was, the NOOOO reaction was instant.

THAT BEING SAID it was still loads of fun to watch! Obviously we got the classic "steal 100 cars" moment, also Buccellati and Trish's conversation about peeing + the shot of Giorno waving desperately while Narancia decides nothing is wrong were way funnier than I remembered them being. And the ending was really good / out of nowhere in true Jojo fashion.. the pirhanna is an incredible punchline. (Also, although he's still creepy, I think Melone is much funnier to watch animated.. there's something about him lounging in a train car drinking wine in that outfit, trying to teach a baby to assassinate people over text.)

So I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the episode! But also I'm excited we're getting to the next fight already >:^)

Super late comment but I binged the last three episodes to catch up and omfg Baby Face is such a huge nOPE; I'm already 😬 at normal pregnancies but to have THAT involved. No thanks.

And I feel ya re: Melone. Hella creepy but also I acknowledge that he's a very effective creeper. (Tangent: Why is no one at the train station reporting this man in a bondage outfit??)

LMAO I laughed at the image of someone walking around like that in an IRL train station.. I love that part of Jojo. Like the outfits are so wild and like.. psychologically jarring?? They walk around Like That, and everyone else has normal outfits so it's not even as if it's standard in-universe, yet there is 0 commentary on it at all. In most series they would lampshade it at least, but I love that they never do in Jojo.
